WOW, now thats a setup! Makes me feel like such a newb for using extract kits haha. I dont have time to do all grain.

Nothing wrong with extract, all grain brew days for 12g batches took about 7-8 hours.

Ya I don’t have time for that with a 1 year old haha. My last brew was a knock off of Boulevards tank 7, not sure if you know what that is. But it came out at 13.2% haha.

Yeah I was big into it, also into making wine thus kept the carboys

, Built my own brew system, thing was a beauty. Entering comps etc. Im also a hop head, still have a couple IPAs everynight after work.

Some new Goodies came in!!!!
All the plumbing (in the boxes), ill be getting everything plumbed up this saturday.

x2 Hydra 52 HDs and mounting system also came in.

MOnday my 25g Mixing station tanks come in also.

Picking up 2 MP40s tomorrow at local fish shop here is houston too!

Getting closer slowly but surely.

Got some work done this weekend, didnt complete the plumbing since i dont have return pump yet, but very close.
Note* most of the piping etc is for my water mixing station im building,
Storage tanks should come in today.
Also Got the Hydra 52s mount setup and tested, the lights look amazing.

The wife and me went by local reef shop to check it out and of course had to pick up the Neptune Apex controller!

New to me (used) Octo Reef Skimmer just came in! Man am I excited!!
Sump gets here tomorrow, and will start planning the plumbing. Few drawing also of ideas, The holding tanks will be one on top other though, not side by side like drawing.

One of my stock trading buddies who also has a reef tank told me he sent me a present and it just came in.
What a good dude, new Gyre, used media reactor and used refractometer.

Then 5 minutes later UPS showed up with the mixing/storage tanks!
Its like christmas!

Little Update.
Jebao Dosing Pump came in.

90% of everything left I need to get up and running has been ordered and will be here around Nov. 1st.

Custom 4 container dosing tank and 6g ATO all in one to fit area left under my tank.
All black acrylic to match the sump and plumbing.

Kessil H380 for refugium with Mounting arm
Neptune 1500 return pump
Panworld external pump for garage water storage/mixing station
Ton of various PVC/Plumbing pieces for mixing station
Sand
Salt Mix
and few other goodies.

Only Items left I need is rock
screen for customer screen tank cover
and im sure a few things Ive forgotten or haven't realized I need yet.

OH Also bought a mirror-less bathroom cabinet that will fit and mount to the right side of tank stand,
I plan on using it as housing for Apex and all other electronics. haven't figured out how I will do it yet
but most likely a piece of custom cut acrylic to fit inside to hide cords and showcase controllers.

Can not WAIT for this to be up and running and start cycling.

Quick Reef tank Build update:

Well I had planned on using the used 75 gallon tank I bought for 50.00 bucks,
But i kept looking at the silicon (see 1st image) and how it was starting to peel, thinking about all the money going into this,
I realized i should just get a brand new tank, whats an extra 150-200 bucks.

SO! I found a place near my house that had the exact same reef ready tank brand new.
Picked it up last night, will have to paint the back black but worth it. Piece of mind alone.
I had nightmare that the other tank was setup and I came home and it gave out and coral and water was everywhere. LOL!

Also panworld external pump for water/mixing tanks came in yesterday along with Neptune 1500 return pump.
Should have the tank in the house and finally wet in next 2 weeks!!!

Reef Tank Build Update! Picture Heavy!

Finally got in a few plumbing pieces i was missing to move forward.
Made some big progress last night, spent the time and drew out the plumbing layout for the water / mixing tanks (really helped having the drawing to go off of when putting together).
Still need a few ball valves and quick disconnects to complete the water station but those will be in by tomorrow.

Also got the whole tank plumbed (dry fit) till its moved in the house, Had to work the plumbing in the sump to have room for the Kessil h380 above refugium, but i got it to fit perfectly.

Also my custom ATO and dosing containers all in one box shipped and should be here by Monday.

Next step is to build out equipment housing cabinet. Using a mirror-less bathroom hanging cabinet thatll mount on side of tank stand.
Will start that project in next week or so.

Anyways im freaking stoked and cant wait to have this in the house and get water in it.

Rock came in last night! Caribsea Life Rock - 80lbs
Me and the wife came up with 4 different ideas so far, I have few more im going to play around with tonight that
will involve little drilling and plastic dowels (wondering if there are any dowels that would be reef safe long term.....)
Anyways here are the ideas so far, let me know what you think!
