Yeah, I subscribed just to keep track of the coral I lost. ; )

Haha, well thanks for subscribing! I won't disappoint...working one some pictures now but here's a sneak peak from last night's acclimation:

Here's the SPS Grand Prize and a few other RR LE's getting ready to be placed into the main tank:

Stay tuned! :)

Here are a few photos of the RR sps prize package, plus "The Phoung" and minus the "Led Zeplin" and "Razzle Dazzle" (which are in the ADA).

Here are the corals that were in the "mystery" packs:

Tony hooked me up with the "Purple Derp" (front middle) because the frag I originally purchased didn't make it or something. The front right is the "Sherbet Swirl" and the back left is the "Razzle Dazzle." Unsure about the others but I really like the front left.

Unsure of names on these.

I think I'm most excited for the acanthophyllia (the wellso is awesome too!)

Oh man! You are too lucky! That is a NICE bunch of corals!

Awesome corals.

Are these systems linked? I plan on doing the same thing on the upgrade but linking mine together.

Nice corals.

What are you using for a skimmer on the ADA? Any other filtration?

The ADA and Envison are plugged into the same sump sharing the same water volume. I have an ATB 840v2 that pulls the gunk for both tanks. So far I'm very happy with it! :)

Thanks Sahin! Looks like I may be coming back across the pond to London in late July or early August, I'll keep you posted!

Those are amazing. Definitely not disappointed with anything we got from the RR sale.

Thanks Badfish! I think I had just one mix up but overall everything is amazing.

Yes, and I highly recommend it if you can. Increased water volume for stability and reduces the overall amount of equipment needed (one controller, one skimmer, etc.). Just make sure to map out your plumbing really well so you can take one of the systems "offline" if necessary.

Any other filtration?

Forgot to answer this. No other filtration. Tried carbon and GFO for three weeks and colors faded a bit so I took it off line. Tried filter socks for a few months with regular changes but grew tired of changing them. So very simple right now, just the skimmer and water changes for nutrient export.

Measured all my parameters tonight:

Alk 8.4
Cal 425
Mg 1500 (still coming down from the tech m treatment but I'm going to keep the levels above 1400)
Nitrates 0 (API so not super reliable)
Phosphate between 0.04 and 0.08 on the Red Sea kit (again, I question accuracy but that's what I'm going with).

I also added a Jebo WP25 to the ADA. All I can say is, WHOA! Heck of a value. I'm running it on the lowest setting in a short pulse mode and it's still almost too much flow. Sand is staying still so I'm going to let it keep rocking for awhile and see how the corals react. Hoping that the extra flow helps with the blue green cyano, which has been a huge pain for the past two months.

In other news, the Pygmy angel apparently likes the taste of my favorite acanthrophyllia and wellso. I like the corals more than the fish so I'm going to be going on the hunt...again. Guess the dwarf angel/SPS tank was a pipe dream. I'm growing more fond of wrasses and anthias anyway.

Right now most of the new LPS are in the ADA and, after some major reorganizing, I'm really digging how the tank is coming together. Can't wait for these new pieces to grow out...years from now. Lol.

Sorry for the multiple posts -- couldn't figure out how to make one post from my phone. Here are some new pictures of corals that have been in the tank for awhile:

Setosa

Red Dragon

Hawkins

Teal & Green Tenius

Joe the Coral

Gorgeous shots man! You got 10g's of corals in a 5g tank, though! Good lord! Hope you have enough room for them to grow out.

How are the corals under the R420R? I've been contemplating trying the LED route again... :: sigh ::

Oh that acanthophyllia!!!1!

Lots of nice stuff there. Say, when are you going on vacation again? I need to "borrow" a few things.

Murder sounds appropriate. :P

Haha, thanks Leo. No kidding, right! As Ron Burgandy would say:

I don't have enough room to grow them into full colonies so I'll be letting them settle in before reevaluating and culling through them. I already know of a few older pieces I want to sell off. All good though, it's part of the hobby!

Corals under the razor are doing really well. SPS growth isn't as good as the Radium but color is just as good and in some instances better. I wouldn't put halides over my SPS tank and I wouldn't swap out the razor, so there ya go! lol

The acanthrophyllia is pretty amazing in person under the actinics and blue LEDs. Hard to capture on camera. I think it has some coloring up to do (because there was some pink in the original photo) but I'm not complaining. It ate this morning and looks pretty wicked near the scoly and wellso in the ADA.

We're actually heading out of town this weekend for Kwoww's birthday. Whattcha need? I'll drop it off or we can meet up.

I'm bummed about the angels but I think it will be the best move (for my corals, not my bank account) to keep my focus on wrasses and anthias. Speaking of, Kwoww loved Kuiter's "Fairy & Rainbow Wrasses" book (she opened it yesterday). You didn't just get one of us hook, you got us both hooked!
