All the plastic!

Maybe we can get a Minnesota based reef maintenance service company to develop a proprietary bacteria blend to break it down through a biological process.

Win win.
I'll just throw the bottles in my tank at that point!

Maybe I’ll take all the plastic

lotta different colors available

cut out coral shapes and fish and put them in

prob have no problems with Dino’s
I won’t have to worry if the LED spectrum is right
I won’t have to worry about paly poison

I’ll still need some Proprietary bacteria to be sure I won’t grow algae though

Ironic the news in on in NYC taking about a plastic ghost gun bust today

now I gotta worry about plastic guns in the ocean!!

And if you use the food to make plastic... but you still have hungry people in the world, is that ethical or sustainable?
We don't have a food shortage in the world we have dictators/war loads stopping food from getting to the people.

Don't worry the seals can now defend themselves from white sharks.

Well intentioned thread, maybe a bit too focused on the hobby when there are far larger players that can make an impact. Every bit helps though.

I try to be responsible in my day to day life but eventually you have to look at the truth. We aren't even a half of a drop in the 5 million gallon water change bucket...

We could somehow get rid of all plastic in this hobby and it wouldn't matter in the least.

There are some companies in our hobby eliminating plastic from their packaging but they still sell equipment that can't be repaired and just ends up in the landfill after a couple years anyway. I commend them for trying but in reality it's a marketing point with zero substance.

My own fault

i Railroaded my own thread

fun none the less

we all need some distractions in This world

Perfect

I always wondered why everyone worries about a little old rusty screw in their tank when we put rust in to remove phosphate
