HHAHAH...now be honest..how many of you went out there and tried?

I had to use paint...so was not my best work.
That is pretty darn good for paint.

Oh I checked bc I was going to cancel my card in case BRS was hacked.

Exactly why I always use paypal on the interwebs. If a company doesn't accept paypal, I don't shop there.

I don't have much for them to take after the holidays, meh... lol

I feel their is no morality issue here, BUT, at the same time, BRS has the right to refuse the sale and cancel it. So you see, it can go both ways. They are having a 10x point sale today, and, I bet it is what effected the programming for the site, thus, the GHL supersale.

Whether or not BRS honors the discounted pricing, I will remain a customer. They have done more for our hobby in the past 10 years than most other online retailers combined. Proving and disproving knowledge, tutorials, stocking many different product lines, and even sourcing chemical components to help those of us who couldn't get it easily otherwise.

And yes, it is disappointing to see smaller outfits like Marine Depot getting bought out but I don't think they would have agreed to the merger unless it also benefited them. I don't know how it will all play out having the most well-known names part of the same venture capitol, though I'm hoping it will lead to more hobbyists and eventually lower prices for all.

Interesting you mention this, I made an order from BRS a few weeks ago and received it overnight. It could be they are starting to stock some stuff on the West Coast.

Oh yippee, a 10x point sale ;Facepalm Hold the phone while I load up my credit cards  (or maybe not).

Where was the Christmas/New Year sale?

It sure would make a heck of a new years present for folks

Best of luck :)

+100. As aduts we should understand policy and corporation implications from individuals. Ryan 's work has positively impacted the community, for long long time. He is in the same league as Jake, Mike and Sanjay. Whatever we see on the merger side is no different from phone company, big tech or any other random industry in US.
BRS is awesome because of Ryan, Randy and many other individuals whom we know love and support the community.

Sorry. I meant what if BRS is no longer carrying the product line.

corey
It wouldn't make sense from a business perspective for BRS to discontinue selling GHL products. This is a well-known brand with a large following, even here in the US.

But think about it this way...BRS is a dominant player in the market. If they stop carrying a product or pushing it..it could be the end of that product. And given they have a highly successful competing product at a similar cost entry point..there are a number of reasons not to continue promoting a competing product.
