However - I have not have any success with "fleshy" LPS and I decided to test because I suspect that it will release some sugars and amino acids to the water too. Some of my LPS react directly with showing catch tentacles in a way I have not seen before. We will see what´s happen - someone has to try
. Test - it is simple. Take a hand blender. Some handfull of Chaeto - some RO water. Mix very well - as small particles as possible. Filter and dilute with RO water. Put in the refrigerator. Dose to the tank. I have a magnetic stirrer - starting 60 seconds pri dosing. It was @Jomama that talk about this first. He say that it works good for him with NPS. - therefore Jomama juiceHowever - I have not have any success with "fleshy" LPS and I decided to test because I suspect that it will release some sugars and amino acids to the water too. It's Lasse's French accent, getting in the way. I think he means, hand held electric blender, or any type.Jomama Juice Power!!!
Would red ogo work: Gracilaria Parvispora?
Why hand blender? I can blend it into a paste with electric blender.

I took it from Google translate but yes - I mean an electrical hand held blender or something that makes the chaeto be very fine chopped. I use it as a green liquid.@Lasse
Are you familiar with the Triton Method? It came up in an algae thread about stressing macro to give up amino acids to feed coral. Would Jomama Juice be analogous to growing macro in a reef tank?
.Thanks for that info. I've been kicking around the idea of frig. Just need to locate close to tank.I kept NPS corals for a short period along time ago.
NPS should be a little easier to keep nowadays because nutrient control is much easier nowadays. Also there are a few more ways to feed corals continuously or around the clock.
I used a small fridge with a dosing pump.
One thing that seemed to help allot was dosing bacteria. I feel some nps corals feed on bacteria. I added vodka to the tank to help increase bacteria and nutrient control.
Phyto was fed but not sure many corals were benefiting.
I always wanted to add a fuge with a bunch of peppermint shrimp since they breed so regularly.
I had a skimmer but always felt maybe it was not a good thing for a nps tank but with all the feeding it was needed.
Mechanical filtration is not a good thing at all in a NPS tank I felt.
It takes dedication and time and is defiantly not easy thing to do but nowadays some of the varieties should be able to be kept that we were not able to keep a while back.
