Salt is good but not that good. [emoji3] The daily supplements are what real make the difference

What if we only use the Probiotics Reef Salt salt?

I've currently only been using the Probiotics salt for a week, but there has been a decent improvement in coral vibrancy (if thats a word). I've also noticed my skimmer has collected more skim than usual in this amount of time. Now can I attribute this to the probiotics doing their thing and getting nutrients out of the water and formed into a skimmable bio-mass....maybe. But whatever is happening in my tank I am very happy with. So I will continue on this path.

Max Reef is getting the whole Aquaforest line in. The store has the probiotic salt, reef salt, and the sea salt.

I wish AQ was a little more specific on what amino acids etc, I'm more of the scientific and don't just like throwing "vitamins" in my tank because someone says they are good for it, is there any scientific articles that were written backing this product up??

I just started using the reef salt, like how parameters are closer to what i keep my tank at than reef crystals,as for probiotics if you feed lrs food and use acro power your covered . doesn't esv 2 part have all the minor elements in it also???

I am unsure if it has all of them, and not sure what levels either. I know AF has designed there Component 1,2,3 to be the ratios needed according to your daily alk/ca needs etc. Like all new programs, we are basically the product testers. That said, the program has been around a while, and I am following some long time users of the program with amazing results and tanks.

No doubt,i am old school and i like the way it works,im using the bacteria now and salt, just bought 4 gal pails of b ionic, lol

Same here, I'm old school and skeptical of wonder products, I would avoid reef crystals, studies I've read showed not the correct mixtures of trace elements esp from batch to batch

ESV was a wonder product and some still question the trace within. I am freaking out over the thought of no longer using lol.

Well unhooked my biopellets and put in cheato, deep sandbed and algae scrubber, biopellets went from dosing phos to high levels, anyway changing to af reefsalt, ordered 3 part and am dosing bio s and will get np,totally going for it

Atta boy Mr. L!!!

Did you get that 200 up and running yet?

I'm big on the acros and have about twenty colonies in my tank. Never before using a salt have I ever seen such a feeding response from my acros. Check of their feeding glands coming out. Every Acro in my tank responds the same way. I'm on week three of using the salt and the Nppro.

IMO there is no point in using the probiotic salt unless your are going to run the whole bacteria driven system. Not saying you cant, however if you just want to use salt i would just use their reef salt instead. Its pretty much the same thing , just not for bacteria driven tanks.

Does anyone know where to find good detailed instructions other than the pdf they offer? I agree that the pdf looks more like a product list and not much for instructions

I read the Aquaforest forum on their website using Google translate and their support forum on Ultimate reef. Plus I follow everyone who is using the products and PM conversation. Plus I have used Zeovit and other similar dosing systems in the past.
