If you read what I wrote, I said “might be”. That statement cannot be incorrect.
sadly, you are the one misinforming people. There are lots and lots of products that are sold to consumers that cannot be poured down the drain. Maybe read up before saying that because it is in Algaefix, it must be ok.
But by all means use that defense at your trial. lol
Saying "might be" is just a cop out to remove responsibility from what you claimed.
It took you 2 minutes to repeat your layman legal interpretation. I don’t claim to know what is legal and what is not with respect to disposal of this chemical in a public sewer, except what I posted where the EPA says it is not allowed. Maybe call your local sewer company and ask them if it is ok to dispose of algaecides that way. That would be a worthwhile addition to the thread. It took 2 minutes. 0 lawyers needed, and since your claim was false and without merit from the start, there will be no defense trial. Personally, I am disappointed because I thought you were credible, yet here you are in this thread not only pushing false claims, but mocking people who point out your error.
And yet here I am even worried about posting to correct your error because I may get modded for doing so, while you claim I'm spreading misinformation for disagreeing with you. What a joke.
it is not a cop out to note what is a possibility and not a certainty. It is a requirement of correct speech.
If that isn’t clear to you, we have no mutual understanding of reality.
To claim censorship of differing opinion is happening here is ludicrous.
Think what you want. I meant exactly what I wrote, and I stand by it.You made a baseless claim and now you are hiding behind the words "might". If that's not a cop out, I don't know what is.

Do I think anyone will be charged? Of course not. I was pointing out an unexpected implication of being misled about the composition of a product. It was primary a joke until you went off suggesting I was somehow in error to suggest something that “might” be true.
As to your claim of being worried about being censored. Relax. If you break the terms of service you will obviously be banned. Expressing opinions (almost any opinion) is allowed as long as you do not break rules when doing so. To claim censorship of differing opinion is happening here is ludicrous.
I’m just guessing but I think one of the biggest concerns are minors. I’ve been guilty of borderline PG level double entendres and 5min later worry about that impact… Minors sticking around is in everyone’s best interest…I've had a couple posts mod-edited and one outright removed since joining. In every case I've thought "Yeah that's fair".
You really want to keep fighting this ridiculous fight?I spent 2 minutes and looked at the EPA approval on the algaefix label. In which it tells directly how to properly dispose of it.
Everything else in this disposal discussion has been stuff you've made up. In fact, you've started this entire thing by making it up.
And now you say it was meant as a joke, yet when questioned you doubled down with the non sequiturs.
Except - something is wrong here. The same algaecide is used in POOLS and outdoor ponds. We swim in this 'pesticide' - and backwash our pool every so often when it rains. So - With all due respect, there has to be some misunderstanding. You really want to keep fighting this ridiculous fight?
You show me where it says you can dispose of algaefix a sewer. You’ve not shown any disposal recommendation or link to such.
while you are looking, I’ll show a second document showing you need to do more than pour it down a drain.
Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal. Do not ship with Food, Feed, Drugs, or Clothing.
PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on-site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
And - the issue here is 'concentration'. Obviously - assuming that 'Busan 77' is the same chemical thats in algaefix - there has to be a problem - since obviously -- when used 'fish' do not just die. I am not going through the EPA 'stuff' again - it was tedious enough last time - but - Obviously algaefix is not 'toxic to fish' - at the concentrations used.If you look up the data sheet for Busan 77 this is what the first page says about it.
